My daughter has been attending for the last few years and she really enjoys it, plus she’s gained in ability, strength and fitness. She has hyper mobile elbows and attending the class has developed her upper body strength which in turn has improve her abilities for other activities.
My son, Jack, has been coming to these classes for about four years now. The fantastic team, led by Chris have been superb in helping Jack develop confidence, fitness and awareness. Jack has recently achieved his black belt, and whilst we hope he’ll not need to call upon these life skills, we can’t thank the team enough for equipping him with the necessary self defence tools. The entire Freestyle Martial Arts team are simply superb and are to be thoroughly recommended.
The whole family have trained with Freestyle and the kids have always looked forward to their classes with great enthusiasm. Our eldest is now exploring wider styles of martial arts at Uni having been inspired and supported by Chris. A super friendly and supportive setup where everyone enjoys themselves and progresses
My son is really enjoying his time at Martial arts, Watford. Staff are friendly, welcoming and professional. Made it easy for my son to settle and eager to improve his skills. He is progressing well and satisfied with their service.

Having tried our local Karate class and having had a very BAD experience I managed to persuade my son to try Freestyle Martial Arts. From the start of the first class we were really impressed. I would highly recommend Chris and his team. Their classes are mixture of fun, fitness and different techniques. My son looks forward to Martial Arts Class every week . Give it a try and see for yourself!
I attended my first class last week. I was made to feel really welcome and given a full induction before the class begun. The class itself was great, with really enthusiastic teachers who obviously had a real passion for what they were doing. The activity was energetic and fun and I came away feeling like I'd learnt a lot. The class was so fun it barely felt like exercise, but I came away sweating and feeling like I'd had a great workout. Would definitely recommend to everyone who wants a fun class where you can learn new skills, meet new people and increase your fitness!
My daughter has been attending Freestyle Martial Arts for nearly 4 years and thoroughly enjoys it. I highly recommend this martial arts class to kids and parents alike.
My 6 year old has been going a few weeks but unfortunately it's not really for him yet. However he really enjoyed going and was made to feel welcome. The teacher was very good and I will definitely consider sending my son again when he's a bit older.
