I had my test here around 2 weeks ago and passed. My examiner was Dave who is also the manager at West Dids. I just want to say that he is a great person. I didn't even feel like I was on my test. He was bubbly and made me feel like I was sat with a friend. Before I realised my test was over it went so quick. Keep up the great service and thank you so much.
I passed my driving test on 4th attempt. 2nd attempt at west didsbury with 3 minors . My examiner is Mark a smiley person who brings the best out of us with his warm welcome. He is really friendly , professional and clear in his instructions. Cheers

I had my driving test today at 8:15am. The examiner was friendly and I did not feel rushed. I explained to him that I was nervous and he put me at ease, he allowed me to take my time especially when moving off. He was really understanding as I had let him know sometimes I prefer silence so I can focus on the road and he was very accommodating with that. I was waffling at times during the test commentary driving and it honestly did not feel like I was doing a test, that was how relaxed I was. The examiner did not raise his voice once at me unlike many driving instructors. When I knew I made faults, the examiner reassured me that I could continue and not to worry as I was overthinking my driving. The staff generally at this centre were really nice and my examiner was clear, well spoken and had a generally soothing voice. All my nerves disappeared half way through the test. At the end of the test, I could not get the car into the final bay forward bay park although that was not my manoeuvre, the examiner was happy with me pulling up instead which made me feel less stressed and anxious. I would say my experience Is positive not just because I passed but because of the attitude of the examiners as they are not out to get you. Be very familiar with the local area in terms of driving as that would make driving much easier.
I had Dave as my examiner. He was such a nice, polite and helpful guy throughout the test. Passed the test with only 2 minors - one of them was that I forget to put the seat belt on :p Realized it after 2 mins of starting my test, and said sorry to him and put on the belt. He told me to carry on. After that, I drove nicely throughout, probably that's why he passed me despite having the seat belt mistake. We had a brief chit chat during the test as well. Awesome man.
Had been failed twice first time was nervous under pressure Lane discipline. Second one called Johnny overreacted as parked near kirby only went far out so wouldn't drive right touch the kirby he over reacted told me to stop also took down Burton Burton road mosque I focused on coming traffic space was tight accidentally drove near parked car if never gonna pass people how suppose gain experience not great test centre

Really good experience, I passed my test yesterday. It was my second attempt. My test instructor was Ian. He was so supportive and his friendly attitude really helped me to calm down my nerves and drive carefully. Thank you so much for your support. ....
Had a great experience at this test centre. I'd heard some horror stories from my friends about over-critical and unfair examiners so I was very nervous on my test date. As soon as my examiner got into the car, he put me at ease with his friendly and easy going attitude. I instantly relaxed as it felt like i had a 'normal' passenger in the car instead of being in a test. He provided clear instruction and although we chatted a bit, he stayed quiet when I needed to concentrate as I've heard also heard about over-chatty examiners putting people off!. I passed with 0 minors on one of the hardest routes and I've got to thank the examiner for making me feel so comfortable so I didn't make any silly mistakes! Although I passed 'without fault' he also gave me some more general tips to further improve my driving which have helped now that I have my own car.
Good test centre with male and female WC facilities. Also the test centre has a water vending machine too..
