Unfortunately Trafford Council has fostered a working culture, which is in very real terms, abusive, pernicious and vindictive towards people they're mandated to help. Their senior management are intentionally and systematically cruel to people who have mental health problems, as well as the elderly, vulnerable and disabled and seem to relish causing suffering to those facing homelessness. I would have never believed this type of review of any organisation, but it sadly comes after 4 years of talking with and meeting various departments, individuals and offices within Trafford Council. Advice: avoid #notfitforpurpose
Totally disgrace of a council, its like they dont care about our communities just out to rip everyone off & not doing the jobs that they are paid to do. They have environment enforcement officers a private company who they have given a contract to to clamp down on fly tipping, instead these so called officers are walking round the town centre intimidating people for dropping a cigarette end or a few crumbs because they work on a commision , the same sly officers sit behind Tesco till 9pm at night hiding in their car waiting to fine someone so they get a good commision. The council have lost the plot if you ask me lol
Rates increase, services decrease. Constant missed bin collections, nature taking roads back, verges overgrown, roads worst in the country.
Poor service as usual. Miserable and unhelpful woman on reception....not the first time either. I've always had to wait at least 30 minutes at every visit....this is poor. Also, the various departments don't seem able to liaise with each other. Frustrating.
Fist time could be an incident but after 3 calls to the switchboard and after having very rude tone, attitude and manners treatment i can say that service is rubbish.
Shame cuts have had to lump everything together now,still nice,helpful friendly staff considering the stressful job they have to do in the housing section.
