Manchester City council is doing a decent job. They’re not the most efficient or the quickest, but those working there do care and I’ve witnessed good service from them for as long as I’ve lived in the city. We need to continue to become more ambitious as the city moves forward.

After always dismissing Manchester as being a bit of a rough dive, the couple of times I've been fortunate to visit over the last couple of months have really turned me around. 

Great, modern city with great culture and (dare I say) fashion. 

The Christmas Markets were out of this world compared to what we have in Newcastle. I wish I didn't have a meal planned that evening because I just wanted to try so much of the food!
