We went to Tobermory today and had Richard as our bus driver. He made the journey very enjoyable and was very knowledgeble. His bright cheery chat was informative. Thanks again Richard for a lovely trip.
I was in Oban a few weeks ago and the trains were all unfortunately cancelled. I was trying to get to Bridge of Orchy and the closest the rail replacement bus would have got me was Tyndrum or Crianlaric. The wonderful lady here knew that there was a citylink coach from Tyndrum to Bridge of Orchy that would would with the times of the replacement bus. Excellent local knowledge that prevented a ridiculous round about trip via Fort William or being stuck in Crianlaric at the mercy of Scotrail. Thank you
I got bad advice from the agent about taking cycles on the 918. Citylink would not refund.
Great service with city link to Glasgow. Locally in the Oban area, it’s a shame they don’t use the bus stop at Oban Airport, but instead stop on the busy main road, with no protection just 60m away !
Terrible instructions for island hopping. Complete lack of customer service. Large Ferry was out of service and the smaller Ferry couldn't accommodate everyone that booked a ferry ticket. West Coast Motors doesn't guarantee a spot on the Ferry even though you have prepaid for your tickets. We weren't able to get on the Ferry due to lack of space and we asked West Coast Motors if we could find a different way to meet the rest of the group on Mull. They said there was nothing you can do, and they refused to give us a refund. We later found out you can hire a charter boat if you miss a Ferry connection. Why wasn't this offered as an option to us by West Coast Motors? Absolutely terrible experience, will never book through them again.
Took the Three Isles tour last week which was very efficiently run. We had an hour on Staffa and two hours on Iona. The tour was made very enjoyable by the driver Richard who drove the coach across Mull. He was very informative and funny. He entertained us with tales of life on the island and made the place come alive for us. I recommend the tour.
Very enjoyable bus tour to Easdale with friendly and courteous driver. When we missed our ferry due to exceptionally heavy traffic we were fully reimbursed. Highly recommended
The two ladies were very friendly. And thé possibility toi let here our Big hicking bags in security to wait our bus was very delightfull.
Friendly drivers and great service during the day. A bit disappointed they did not have an evening service to our b & b which meant trying to get a taxi as I am a wheelchair user
