"Started 35 years ago, our family-run business operates the largest and most powerful wildlife and whale search boat in the Firth of Lorne Special Area of Conservation near Oban, Argyll, one of the best protected areas in Scotland. Skipper David is a TV wildlife cameraman with a keen interest in photography and conservation. Our friendly wildlife guide, also a biologist will give talks about the wildlife and serve hot drinks and biscuits. All trips visit the famous Gulf of Corryvreckan where turbulent tides create rich feeding and a hot-spot for wildlife. We operate from our own private pontoon and private car-park, our pontoon has special ramps to facilitate access for wheelchair users, please check out our website for more information."

We saw so much interesting wildlife including sea eagles, common seals, porpoise, red deer and gannets. The two guides Liz and I can't remember the guys name but he was great, so sorry!! were really friendly and informative. They told us all about the wildlife we saw as well as Scottish folklore, and about local political issues relating to the environment which I think is very important! The scenery from the boat was amazing we were really lucky and had beautiful weather even though it was forecast to rain! Really would reccomend this trip.
Had the most brilliant 4-hour wildlife tour today. Surpassed all our expectations. The guides, Liz and Steve, were so knowledgable and friendly throughout the tour and there really wasn’t a dull moment. I had my kids with me 7 and 9 and they were both enthralled the whole time as well. We saw seals and pups, porpoises and a small calf, sea eagles, common dolphins, bottle nose dolphins, and most spectacularly- minke whales, including one breaching which was just amazing. I know some of this is pot luck, but I really feel we would have still enjoyed the day even with half the wildlife. The hot drinks and biscuits were a lovely bonus. 10/10 recommend to anyone considering it. Excellent day out.
We had an amazing time on the wildlife tour on the 6th May. The tour operates were incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and wildlife. On the trip we saw porpoises, deer, sea eagles, goats, and a variety of sea birds. Would highly recommend.
Had a fantastic time on the 3-hour wildlife tour. Saw a variety of beautiful animals, especially given the time of year, including common seals, a black-throated diver, red deer, mountain goats and a hint of a porpoise dorsal fin! Would definitely come back in high season to try see more marine wildlife. Juliet I think! was fantastic as a tour guide, as was David and his wife David was also very helpful in a phone conversation pre-booking. Very knowledgeable and some good tales of the local area. They also provided us with waterproof trousers, and refreshments. The boat has seats as well as space to stand, and is very comfortable. 100% recommend. The landscape is stunning, even if wildlife does its own thing!
Really great trip! Super knowledgeable guides. The boat was comfortable and there was loads of room. We saw whales, seals and a huge amount of sea birds. Well worth it!
Two warm friendly crew to greet us on embarking. Scenery is outstanding and getting to see the Porpoises and Minke's through the Corryvrecken was such a treat As the cruise progressed it was clear David and Emma really did enjoy there job and are very knowledgeable with lots of interesting information. They would answer any questions you asked about various things from the seabirds, to rock formations on the islands to the habits of the Minkes etc 4 hr cruise went in so quickly for me and would highly recommend this cruise if you enjoy looking at Marine life and some of the smaller islands. We had a magical day out on the water with David and Russ exploring the waters between Seil Island and Colonsay and then through the Corryvreckan and around the shore of Scarba and Lunga. Lots of wildlife including Common Dolphins, Minke Whale, Porpoise, White tailed Eagle and Hen Harrier. Great hospitality and interesting and relevant information provided. Highly recommended
Great duo of guides, very friendly even offered us some binoculars to borrow as we didn't have any! knew all the info on the animals we saw and other interesting facts about the islands, respectful of the wildlife and summoned Minke whales and Porpoises! A great experience I will always remember
Had a brilliant day out with Sealife Adventures. We took the 5 hour trip and were very lucky with sightings. The boat is substantial and professionally run. The crew were fantastic, very knowledgeable about where to find the different animals. They were very attentive and friendly, with some great stories to tell.
Had a fantastic afternoon on the 4 hour wildlife trip. Beautiful scenery and a wealth of wildlife including sea eagles, seals, red deer and a large variety of sea birds. Very knowledgeable crew/guides who looked after us really well. Would definitely recommend this as a must do experience and will certainly be doing it again ourselves.
