Had a fantastic time on the fishing tour today, the weather wasn't too bad for spring and we did manage to catch some fish which was an added bonus. We also saw seals and many species of birds, Jack and the team were lovely from start to finish. Make sure you dress appropriately, especially if going in spring or autumn as the weather can be unpredictable and cold or windy. My partner is into finishing but it was my first time sea fishing on a boat. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and cannot wait to be back! Highly recommend it if you have a few hours in Oban
Excellent 2 hour boat trip. Well organised. Booked online same day. Clear but cool day and rugs were provided. Brilliant commentary showing Kerrera, Mull and the coastline. Great value. Recommended.
Loved it. Was booked on a 2 hour wildlife tour, but sadly only 3 of us were booked on, so we're offered a 1 hour trip instead. Just as we were boarding a family of 3 did join us, but, for them they wanted a 1 hour, which we'd agreed too. Lovely clean boat. Comfy folding chairs outside, or seats inside. Cheery woman giving us a chat prior to the trip. Information given throughout on history, landmarks etc. Really only saw seals ... a salmon farm and beautiful coastline .. but for £14, we thought it was great. Easy to find, parking nearby free until 1.00 pm, then £1 an hour.
First time fishing in Scotland. Joined the 4-7pm tour for some mackerel fishing. Weather was not great, catch was decent, and the staff incredibly helpful/friendly. Would recommend for a family activity but not so much so the keen angler. Lots of standing so be aware if one has bad knees/hips that might be something to consider. A good experience and would recommend!
Fantastic! Would really recommend. Very reasonably priced at £24 each for the 2 hour wildlife tour and kids go for free. We saw the seal colony, a variety of birds and a number of porpoises. Blankets and binoculars provided, which was an unexpected but welcomed bonus! The staff were also absolutely lovely!!!
This was a fantastic opportunity to see the wonderful natural sights of Mull. We had a brilliant tour team who were very friendly and informative, the tour lasted a couple of hours and it was just about the right amount of time required. The boat offered some good facilities including a toilet which is useful if you are thinking of taking children, the use of free binoculars was particularly helpful as otherwise some of the things we we're looking at would be hard to see. Hopefully next time we go we will be able to spot the sea Eagles but unfortunately on our trip they were nowhere to be seen. So why not treat yourself and your family to a great natural tour and enjoy the landscape of mull.
We've had a great 3 hrs trip out Makerel fishing. It was a highlight of our holiday so big thanks to Jack, Linda and Ivy for making that possible. We caught lots of fish, the communication was very good and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Thanks guys
My wife and I took the two hour History and Wildlife tour and it was brilliant! We sailed around Balliemore enjoying stunning views, the area's history and spotting some resident sea wildlife. It was very reasonably priced too!
Terrific 2 hours out on the water around Oban and Kerrera. Weather helped as it was calm and in lovely sunshine!! OK, the wildlife wasn’t that inspiring, but then wildlife is not on tap! Good convivial hosts. Would recommend.
Excellent 2-hour cruise around Kerrera. Was great to see Oban from out on a boat, along with various wildlife including birds, porpoise and seals. Stunning scenery and Gylen Castle. Suitable for our 7 year old girl also. Friendly and informative staff. Really good price too.
