All of our family use this dentist, we were with Malcolm Ellis at his previous practice in Bishop Auckland nearly 20 years ago and he’s an amazing dentist which is why we moved with him to this one. I called today to get my son a check up but he has been removed from the practice without informing us, he has been under an orthodontist for the last few years and as he had no issues he didn’t attend. I was cut off by the receptionist when I complained, when I called back there was no apology! Feel very let down and disappointed!!nnMy 1 star review wasn’t about the NHS pulling funding it was about being a long standing customer and not being informed and the poor customer service from reception staff!!
Great dental practice. All of the staff were lovely and friendly, had a check up with Mr Atwood and he explained everything thoroughly and was very nice.
Quite simply an exceptional dentist. From everyone at reception,nto the dentists themselves. I've had a few dental issues to sort out recently and they put me right promptly with minimal expense too. Very thorough. Had an extraction with Mr Atwood recently and he was brilliant! People travel a long way to come to this practice, it's that good
Cancelled appointmentnnBooked a check up months ago, they sent a text sometime after cancelling the appointment, phone autoblocked the text as reported as spam.nnShould have really called or wrote, if they advised they will send alerts by text I would have added their number to my contacts
Friendly and efficient reception staff, nothing is too much trouble. Always receive a great service.
