Popped into the surgery this afternoon as my Father was in a confused and anxious state of mind following a phone call from the practice earlier in the day. Megan was working reception, she was most professional, very pleasant and helpful. She was sympathetic and understanding to my Father’s predicament. An absolute pleasure to have met and an asset to the practice.
I had a very disappointing and unprofessional experience with Wellington Practice. After filling out their online form, I received an alarming message suggesting that my case might be serious and that I should contact my GP, which I immediately did. When I called, the lady who answered instructed me to fill out the very same form I had already completed prior to the call, and then abruptly hung up without allowing me to explain my situation.nnWhen I called again and started by explaining, “Your application directed me to this phone number,” I was only asked whether I had taken any painkillers. I answered honestly that I had not. The nurse then dismissed the matter, saying only that “someone will contact you.” That was four days ago, and I have still not received any call back or any further communication.nnThis lack of professionalism, poor communication, and disregard for patient care is unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this clinic and strongly advise others to seek medical services elsewhere.
How annoying I have to press one star to submit my review, they defiantly don’t deserve it. Absolutely awful. Never known anything like it, didn’t think it could get worse but it defiantly has. No point even trying, I’m passing out and can’t even get a simple appointment or blood test. They loveeee to tell you to just go and sit in a&e all day, no wonder the hospitals struggle when the gp don’t do anything. I’ve got so many concerning things I need to query such as moles growing but instead I just live with it all because trying to get an appointment here is way more stress than it’s worth.
registered as a new patient, called to get some documents witnessed/certified, then palmed off with two contradictory excuses -n-no, because you're a new patient and we don't know you erm im a 36yo british citizen with an NHS number national insurance number, passport etc, why treat me like a 2nd class citizen?n-no, because we don't offer that service take a look on the uk government website and you'll see that part of a gps role is to certify documents as a professionalnnso which one is it? one of them must be a lie.nthank goodness im not ill, goodness knows what sort of state you'd leave me in!
