I had a fantastic stay at the Wellington Hotel in Brecon! The hotel is comfortable and well-located, but what really made the experience special was the amazing staff.nnLuke always had a smile on his face and made sure everything ran smoothly.nnMorgan was incredibly welcoming and helpful, creating such a friendly atmosphere.nnRyan, the night porter, was kind and attentive even during late hours — always cheerful and professional.nnTheir service made me feel truly looked after. Highly recommend this hotel — I’ll definitely be back!
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Our waitress Alicia was particularly jolly. Spontaneous Sunday lunch as a pit stop on long drive. The trio of roasts was delicious. Busy buzz about the place. Nice old building right in the centre of town.
The room was lovely in a lovely building and the bar and restaurant below seemed nice. I did however find the room incredibly cold, I had to run the heater in the bathroom all night to warm the room up, I’m not known for being cold either! the bath was also very narrow for a shower and would suit better with a screen rather than a curtain which sticks to you. The shower was also on a fixed point and due to the damage on the hose it wouldn’t sit in straight so it was hard showering all around. Admittedly I’m not a small guy. Basin taps were also incredibly close to the edge of the basin making them difficult to use. All cheap repairs/fitting rather than spending money to do it properly, I’m a plumber so I know what’s fitted!nnScores are still high as it was a nice clean bedroom in a nice building and the staff I spoke to were all courteous and helpful.
Always a nice place to stop for a drink as it has a real fire and plenty of room. A good selection of drinks on tap, including some unusual ciders. Never had food or stayed here so can't comment on that.
Booked this for a Sunday roast as well as having different choices off the menu. We traveled from Bristol to have lunch here. And I will highly recommend. The service was friendly as soon as we walked in through the door. There is a large selection of drinks. We had Sunday roast and the food was high quality and the presentation was lovely. And the taste was delicious...nThe whole restraunt and bar area was clean and tidy. And nothing wasn't any trouble to the staff. Will definitely come back. And already have searched at rooms so we could stay instead of travelling home. Thank you everyone
