Incredible B&B! The owners Gill and Joe were beyond friendly and made us feel right at home. When pulling in we were greeted by the adorable dogs and a warm welcome. The room was comfy and inviting, and the private bathroom had a large tub that was perfect after a day of hiking. Opening up the window allowed us to fall asleep to the soothing sound of the river that runs beside the house. In the morning we awoke to a charming breakfast that included cooked and uncooked portions. I particularly enjoyed the yogurt with a variety of seeds that could be added. Gill and Joe chatted with us about some local sights in the area, as well as their travels (definitely worth asking about if you're planning on travelling). The only issue we experienced was missing the turn due to a misguided gps (the real turn is immediately after the bridge) but that was in no way fault of the B&B. Overall our stay was wonderful and I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone, especially after a long day hiking. Just watch for the turn; there is a sign.

We really liked our stay here. The breakfasts are consistently brilliant, with a varied and interesting menu. Rooms are comfortable and Jill was a wonderful host. We look forward to coming again.
