Excellent levels of Dentistry, with superb support too.. Dr Simon Martin, Nancy et al are a joy to deal with. I am in the process of having extensive complicated dentistry and the team at Carnon Downs have been outstanding from the outset. Everything is made very clear by the whole team who are thorough, reasurring, kind and very attentive from the dental procedures, payment schedule and everything inbetween. For someone who is somewhat nervous of Dentists, I could not feel more reassured that I am in very capable and trustworthy hands.. Highly recommend.
I'd been on the waiting list for a new dentist for four years and eventually got into this one whom I was with for four years. I was cancelled on three times in total, the last being January 22. When I emailed in June I was told my dentist had left and I'd have to find someone new. When I replied stating why wasn't I told and I could've been on the waiting list for six months now I didn't get a reply.. absolutely disgusting..wouldn't recommend at all, completely unreliable
Thank you carnon downs dental surgery. Got call this morning for a cancellation appointment. Receptionist was really lovely. Had my tooth Extracted and the dentist and his nurse where really lovely and caring . I am a very nervous patient but both put me at ease. Once again thank you everyone at surgery .
I had been with this dentist since it first opened in Perranwell Station, over twenty years. as an NHS patient. Then the dentist who had been treating me left and I was given the choice of paying to go private or leaving. I went once as a private patient for a routine check up which was nowhere near as thorough as I had previously had as an NHS patient. I won't be going back.
Excellent service, dentist called prior to appointment to say running 10 mins late which I'd never had before. This was ideal so much better not to have to rush to appointment only to find you have to sit waiting for ages in reception. As dentist was busy car park full this prior warning gave me time to park elsewhere and walk without having to rush. Dentist then did quick repair at my check up appointment which saved me having to come back another day. Good service and all very friendly.
Awful service, my dentist suddenly left the practise and I was informed I couldn't have an appointment until they found another, this dentist done a root canal twice on me the same tooth both attempts failed I payed twice and consequently I had to use antibiotics and was told I would have to have it removed I was referred to a Pvt practice in stmawes, they carried out a root canal on the same tooth this privative worked on, the root canal was successful and hasn't been a issue since. I complained and was deregistered from the practice
I have been with this dentist for many many years, even back in good old days when they were based in perranwell. Today I had to wait over 20mins for my call to be taken & once my call was answered I was then told I am no longer registered with this dentist because I have not seen them in over 18 mths, word of warning don’t have good teeth or they will fill your space with another who has bad teeth for obvious reasons £££ Not being bothered if I’m NHS or private as I can pay for my treatment I was still explained there is now no space for me and all my previous x-rays and records that I paid for previously are not able to be transferred to another dentist WOW!!! Granted I have not visited the dentist since late 2015 but to my amazement I have been taken off their system without any warning or a courtesy letter, when asked about this I was told we don’t do that!! If I knew I was being taken off your list I would have popped in said hi and had a check-up. I had missed an appointment in 2015 due to my new born son spend 9 mths in Bristol children’s hospital of which I informed the Dentist of however no notes were apparently put on the system!!!! Funny that!! This used to be a brilliant dentist, friendly, calls answered quickly, and would really go out of their way to help you, my whole family are registered here... Looks like we will all find another dentist now. I understand all business have protocols to follow however come on at least send me a letter or make telephone call to say goodbye!!!
Always been a little apprehensive about going to the Dentist, this time Laura had to remove a tooth. This was painless and everything was explained involving the aftercare. I would highly recommend Well Dental nothing was too much trouble.
As someone who wasn't that keen on dentists, this place is lovely, and will put you at ease the minute you walk through the door. The staff, from the receptionists right through to the dentists and the nurses / hygienists are so friendly, and immediately put you at ease. Lovely modern premises, with up to date equipment. Limited parking outside, as well as on street if needed. Keep up the good work guys and gals ...
Actually it’s Margaret Edwards David’s Wife writing this review Well Dental’s Dai Jones is the best dentist Puts you at ease friendly but most important his work is faultless Never painful . Receptionist s are friendly even when they are busy
