Delivers exactly what the name of the place says..... Decent rough and ready pub, with great friendly staff and good live music on the weekends. Pool table and a darts board in the bar area and lots of TV screens for sports (even one in the garden if the sun is out and you don't want to miss the footy!)

A standard estate pub, reasonable car parking, with free WiFi available in all areas. Very friendly staff and reasonable prices for drinks and food. Can be surprisingly busy at lunchtime, but, surrounded as it is...by front doors...maybe it shouldn't be a surprise. Like another reviewer, I too noticed that the 'sports brigade' were very respectful of the female customers...yes, they were boisterous, but not threatening or aggressive. Recommended for groups, or couples, not sure about families?

Pub. A locals pub really, beer is OK and food while not exciting is good value and quick normally.
