Terrible food. We ordered the chip shop platter and chicken and bacon melt. It took over half an hour to arrive bearing in mind the pub was dead. On arrival the peas we're stone cold actually no heat coming from them at all as was a grilled tomato. The chips we're barely warm but the chicken was passable. The cod was grey and flaky, the bread was dried up to the point of nearly toast and again the chips we're barely warm. If I had more time to spare I would of made a complaint but my parking ticket had run out. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Often take myself and my young son for Sunday lunch and to watch the Premier League. Food is always excellent, arrives hot, and is the best deal in town. Nice staff, relaxed atmosphere, never had a bad experience at all, been going for years.

What can I say? It stays open late so it's the only place to go after one pm if you want to drink and dance. Talking of one pm, make sure you get in before the curfew and bring photo ID or you won't get in. The beer is kept well and they have a good choice of wines and spirits (for a pub where the punters are not usually in a state to discern quality). They do serve a nice pint of Punk IPA too!

The food was part cold dirty beer glasses couldn't even give me the right change as they had run out of coppers. Wanted a Meal with a drink deal but that finishes at 4pm due to waiting ordered at five past and would not do the deal. Ok for a pint but still the same old litter tray.
