Great setting by the river and the beer is good so well worth a visit.  It's newly refurbished and they have done a pretty good job inside.  Good atmosphere generally and the new management seem to be getting to grips with things.  I ate here too recently and that was quite nice.  The special offers (lunch menu, burger night etc) are good value.

Went for dinner and drinks last Friday night.  I had booked a table in advance, upon arrival they had no record of the booking as I'd booked it online?!  We were then told to sit anywhere and when i asked is it table service or do we need to order at the bar I was informed sometimes they do table service... helpful.  The food was expensive for what it was which was pretty standard, but I couldn't get over the price of a glass of wine in this place... wow!  Such a shame as it's a lovely location but I won't be returning.  When I speak to friends who have also visited lately they sadly have exactly the same opinion.  I had planned to have my birthday drinks there later this month but I've moved this to another local pub now.

Very nice thames-side pub renovated and reopened last weekend.
Gorgeous building and very tastefully decorated. Great views out on the riverfront from the expansive gallery upstairs.
The food is on the expensive side but very nice and I reckon it's worth the extra. I had a lamb shank for lunch just now and it was cooked to perfection.
The atmosphere is pleasant and we had a nice time overall.

Went it with a group of six for Saturday lunch. Had to wait over an hour for food with the pub about 1/4 full at best. One dish was missing and had to be reordered and eventually came with burnt sweet potato fries. Mixed grill at 17.99£ (...) was announced with peas and onion rings on the menu - had to ask for both. Complained to the manager who was awful and had no customer service skills....
Shame as the location is perfect and business is there....
Just go to the Swan instead!

Reopened on Monday and just had lunch.
Special lunch prices at £7.00 main course  and good choice of proper ales.
Service also good and on a very cold day it was beautifully warm..
Very enjoyable
