WAX has broken into the BANK and transformed it into Newquay's newest Cocktail & Craft Beer Bar & Restaurant!

Story

Quite simply we plan on opening an amazing Cocktail & Craft Beer Bar with a restaurant serving great food in the heart of Newquay! Oh, and we are keeping it bank themed, so expect to see some really unique features.

WAX Newquay is located in the old Lloyds bank on central square. Phase one of our bank 'break in' completed in early July, with the opening of our ground floor bar and restaurant.

Phase two will look to complete in late October when we open the 'Vault' restaurant on the top floor.

We hope you are as excited as we are and stay tuned for lots of updates as the build develops. We will also be asking you questions to help determine how we operate.

We came on a night when they were 'workshopping' a new menu and oh boy was that menu good. Me & the wife had the cod dish and loved it, the boys got stuck into a pizza and burger and they spent a good 30min arguing who's was better. We had cocktails and were even recommend cocktails for the kids, these were all amazing and we found ourselves ordering another round straight away. Staff were so friendly, especially Hannah and Sam, We will be back on our next visit to Cornwall.

We have visited both WAX sites now and although Watergate is still our fav (views), the newquay restaurant is also to die for. Service is great with really friendly staff, cocktails are fantastic but the food is out of this world. Can't wait for the beer garden to open in the summer.

Very friendly welcome as we walked in, offered drinks in the perfect time after finding a table. Order was taken promptly and efficiently. Food came out in a very good time and was perfect. Overall awesome experience.

Excellent food,the pulled pork with Apple sauce wrap was huge and the mocktails were fantastic,ideal for someone who doesn't drink alcohol, been several times now and will continue to do so.
