Had dinner in this restaurant tonight - 3rd April, and the whole evening was appalling. The decor is very poor and you may say that it’s the food that counts but if I’m out to dinner, having a decent ambiance should add to the experience rather feeling like I’m in a cheap cafe. The food we ordered: 1/4 Duck - was good, but we had to ask twice for extra pancakes Crispy squid - was not fresh, batter was thick and crunchy, squid was like a rubber band, sent it back Chicken satay - was originally given a chicken curry but sent it back, eventually was given what was allegedly the BBQ chicken but it’s nothing like I’ve had in my life. The chicken was soggy in a gloopy sauce, so sent it back. Sweet and sour pork was mostly batter and the sauce was like jelly and tasted off. Ate it due to starvation. Beef chow mein was good, large portion and no complaints! So overall, the restaurant comes across as cheap, the food is bad and the service not much better. I didn’t pay for the dishes that were returned but it doesn’t change the fact it was an evening out ruined. I won’t go again and wouldn’t recommend this place, it’s rubbish.

Don't be put off by the shabby interior as the good is good. Well priced compared too.

Great food very tasty,the host is great very welcoming.could not fault it,and its not full of salt and msg you can taste the food will definitely go back.and the potions are huge.

Very nice Chinese meal, please don't be put off by the decor which is dated as the food is superb, the owners/staff were very friendly and not at all pushy, we will be going back again I'm sure
