Unbelievably helpful. The shop itself is a bit of an Aladdin's cave but has everything you need. The owner is always happy for a chat and very knowledgeable about all the kit on show. In addition to this he has unmatched politeness that really shines through. Will be back whenever I need more hiking gear!
I was looking for a last minute purchase for camping gas and other utilities for a hiking trip. I came across this little shop. The owner is absolutely lovely and has absolutely everything imaginable on stock. He‘s also a great chat and has a great knowledge about the outdoors. Thanks! Hope I can come back someday.
Was staying at Union Jack Club around the corner and was pointed here by an ex Cheshire Reg Tom. Can't really say enough I much I enjoyed mooching around and how pleasant and helpful the owner was. My brother quite unexpectedly bought a cracking pair of hiking boots for the winter! Top marks, top guy!
I came In to ask for DPM woodland related kit and the owner quite quickly told me that I couldn't browse the store, and that if I wasn't interested in purchasing a shirt for 20 pounds I could leave, i didn't have time to even think about what I wished to purchase and was put in an ultimatum to either buy it or leave. I can't emphasize how passive aggressive it felt considering that the only interaction with the owner previous to asking about the kit was me saying hello. I would not recommend it.
I don't normally leave reviews, but this little 'aladdin cave' deserves a review. Yes, it's 'full to the brim with stuff right up to the door' but I found it a great little place. It has all what, you need. The chap inside was very helpful and accommodating. True to his words, the boots I bought are very comfortable. I will for sure, will be returning to get the backpack and other bits. Thanks from the Coach Driver .
Amazing little hidden gem, proper surplus store, could have spent all day in there. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and was super friendly and helpful. Incredibly glad I went as I was only changing at Waterloo. Could not recommend more if you're after some decent kit for the great outdoors.
Lovely shop, they had everything I needed for my first airsoft event. Great range of camos and accessories. Mark and Howard are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable with their gears. If you need anything for paintballing, airsoft games I would highly recommend this store!
This might be the best store the best store I've been to on London. The store is full of things that are super high quality that are genuine military surplus or used items. The items I found were all top grade used items. The store is brimming with things, so even if it looks like it's not open, it definitely is. What's better than the products is the shop owner. He's genuine and really friendly. He gives you the advice and tells you the options that would be the best fit. He actually recommended a cheaper item because it was higher quality, and fitted my needs better. The prices are also exceptional. If the items are good enough for the military then it's good enough for a civilian. Except it will last a life time!
This shop is an absolute mess. You can barely open the door with all the clutter on the floor. Once inside, you're basically in a queue to get served and that's providing the owner remembers what order you came in. There was copious amounts of litter on the floor and the path to the fitting room is littered with trip hazards. Honestly would avoid this place.
This place is a hidden gem. An Aladdin's cave of everything outdoorsy. Owner is super helpful, friendly and knows his stuff. Highly recommended I'm very happy with my new shoes. I've been telling my fellow enumerators about it.
