Brilliant site, very well kept, well worth stopping at. Even better there are some great walks and some real nice pubs all outside the camp gate!

A very helpful warden who willingly helped this 1st time motorhome user with an electrics problem. The site itself is well laid out, secluded pitches amongst the trees adding to the quiet setting. The toilet blocks, although clean, were a bit dated, with concrete walls instead of tiling, and the taps require replacing or refurbishment. Showers operate with a token, free to use as often as required, after paying a refundable £5 deposit for the token - I prefer the "timed push button" method myself . The site itself is very well located, with several eateries and a long canal towpath close by. An onsite "library" is a thoughtful touch & overall, a decent, clean and well run site .

Nice site in a nice setting that we hoped we could relax in after a busy week at work but unfortunately we found it to be very noisy at night. The noise from the pub entertainment on the Saturday evening was awful and there were several groups of people on the site that were rowdy into the early hours. Great for some but far too noisy for us.
I've stayed here many times and have always enjoyed every minute of my stay. The site is very clean and a nice peaceful friendly site. Mick is very helpful and will always do his best to help anyone on site. We forgot our electric hook up and Mick was straight over to help with one we could borrow for the weekend. There are lovely dog walks and 3 local friendly pubs in walking distance. I would highly recommend a stay here and we will definitely be back soon.
Lovely campsite, excellent pubs and lovely walks
Great place highly recommend it . Not alot for kids to do and the shower block is shared with toilets making it not very private to get changed. The shower has a token with the box on the outside of your shower and the shower doesn't last that long and you have to get out of your shower to out a token back in. The shower itself is good . The caravan site is clean and tidy and everyone is friendly. Certainly would go again. Thank you
Good campsite, friendly warden and wife. Very quiet even though full at weekend. Lovely hot showers. Good pubs within walking distance.
