We were in the area and wanted to eat some starters only as weren't hungry enough for a full meal. Decided to go into this restaurant which is on a street with a lot of eateries. This one was very busy.. We got a table as it was just two of us.nThe menu was Afghani & Pakistani dishes. Very popular grilled food... They have proper charcoal grills at the front as you walk in.nWe had couple of starters which tasted delicious, wish we could try other items but well definitely visit again.nService not the fastest but it was busy so expected.
Watan proved to be very good and offers an authentic experience. The food prep is unique in that they grill over charcoal.nnThe food was scrumptious, very well made. We opted to take out. The kabobs, the naan bread and tea…all exceptional. The associates are courteous and gave us a dessert to try.
Many people have recommended me to come to this restaurant for its grilled meats and finally I managed to make it down. The Special Afgani mixed from for 3 to 4 was enough to fill up 3 grown men. If you want to share with 4 people you may need some starters.nnMixed grill 9 out of 10nService 9 out of 10nnIf you like grilled meats this place is definitely worth a visit.
Had the tastiest Pakistani food at Watan Restaurant, ordered Chicken Charsi Karahi and Lamb Chops. They were immensely flavorful. We were attended by Naveed, who was super cooperative and courteous. The complimentary Kheer and Kehwa offered by him made the whole visit worth it. Definitely recommended!
The food is always good here, I have been coming to this restaurant for the last 8 years. The food is the same but of course service is better every time we come.nNaveed went the extra mile for us, my mum has a very strict diet, he helped us pick the right dishes for her.
