The staff are friendly and helpful and ready to make things right they forgot one item and then gave it to us for free. The food was mixed, some was reheated poorly and some was freshly made. The booths are nicely decorated so you can take nice pictures here. Toilets were clean. It's a well known classic Southall restaurant.
We visited Chaudhurys TKC on a whim today after many years, we thought to give it the benefit of doubt as things may have improved. The only good thing was the decor. Food was pretty standard nothing amazing and I would say the service was good only because we weren't visiting very late, it was mid afternoon around 3pm and that's why the food was served on time and we didn't had to wait too much. We ordered sheesh Kebabs for starters and chicken tikka along with a portion of papdi chaat. The Kebabs were a little spicy but still nice so was the chicken tikka. Papdi chaat was nothing amazing they don't make it fresh on the spot as it seems like it was in the refrigerator for a while. We also ordered a house salad which came with more onions and a slice of orange instead of lemon, paid £4 for it. We ordered a few plain naans and keema karahi as well as saarson ka saag with pilau rice. The karahi smelled of meat i cant forget that smell it wasn't bunned properly and you could taste the tomatos in it, the saarson ka saag was just blended with no effort to actually cook it properly. I liked the pilau rice but we only got a small plate of it. I wouldn't say the portions are generous for the price your paying. Giftos across the road give double the portions and food quality is much better. Moving on to the desserts, we initially ordered ras malai, and soft serve ice cream and two other desserts. We were told they run out of these desserts and so we asked for two portions of gajar ka halwa and two portions of gulab jamuns with ice cream. The waitress said the manager will reduce the prize for you so you pay the same price unfortunately that wasn't the case. Gulab jamuns didn't come with ice cream it came with kulfi instead but we weren't told that. We did ask for containers and received these promptly to pack our food. We paid our bill at the till as they dont do table service.. The waitress was rude and not very nice, When we were placing our order she was very rude. She asked us how many pieces of sheesh Kebabs we want as they come separately not 2 pieces per portion like other restaurants so I said 4 please when the starters came out I mentioned that I said 4 pieces and she said no you didn't it said 2 on your order that I screenshot from your phone because I couldn't be bothered to write it down so I said okay and I let it go. When I asked for a jug of water she laughed and said oh its tap water like I didn't know that, and who even puts Lemons in plain water? She gave us a top up of the water when she brought the desserts lol. The total came up to £63.50 and the food wasn't worth it so therefore I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. Please spend your hard earned money elsewhere. The restaurant may have famous people visit but there really need to improve food quality and standards. Vegetarian options: Different vegetarian dishes on the menu.
We travelled from Glasgow and visited TKC for breakfast. Ordered Halwa Poori, Channay, keema Karahi, pooriyaan and prathay. The food was delicious but above all we were served by Zara who was exceptional in customer service. Had to order extra pooriyaan and Zara was very quick in taking our order and bringing to the table. Even helped us with understanding portion sizes. We missed the Buffett Breakfast which we will try and catch next time. Overall I certainly recommend TKC if you are looking for some authentic Pakistani food.
Multicultural Community group Hi kawar I would like to say that I really enjoyed the food. The restaurant was very colourful which made me feel positive. The service was very quick. The food was served hot the hospitality was excellent. I was very happy to meet the owners. Who were friendly. Would come again would recommend it to other people who visit London. Thank you. I had a great experience with them. Went there Saturday morning for breakfast, they serve breakfast buffet, proper desi dishes Halwa, puri, paratha,chana aalu. It was superb and very tasty . The lovely girl Muskan who was serving us was great. Over all service is wonderful. I would recommend this restaurant Food: 5/5
We had our wedding party at TKC Southall and we were served by Mansi. She has helped soo much and did not delay anything. It was an extremely successful event thanks to her.
Went there with my cousins. The ambience was nice. Food was pathetic. We ordered Chilli Paneer in starter and Bhindi curry, Dal Tadka, Chapati, Naans in main course. The paneer Chilli was having taste of only tomatoes. It was very spicy and horrible. After having few bites of it, we felt like we came at the wrong place and should have chosen to go anywhere else. Followed by it Bhindi came with some Bhindi pieces in liquid curry having 80% raw large onions in it. Was not able to realise we are eating Bhindi or raw onion curry. Again it was also spicy. Only dal tadka tasted good. Chapati was like plain paratha. Naan was like big tandoori. Pathetic Food and will not recommend anyone to go. The waitress Suman was good. She took the order nicely and served the food properly.
Fakhra and Rafiqa were excellent. Amazing customer service and yummylicious food. They were both very friendly and lovely. Will definitely come back again and recommend. Food: 5/5
A very good evening at TK Chaudry's the food was spot on and Rafiqa was an excellent host very attentive and also spent time with is on the table and cut the cake for us and entertained us all. Zara done some excellent waitering service and food was delivered on time without any mistakes. Definitely worth a vist we will see you soon.
Took my mum for lunch, food was great as usual. Sumon was superb in customer service , she made sure we had a great dine in experience
