They told my parents they were buying real gold, a signet ring and a replacement wedding band... they're in their 80 's the ring's are cheap shiny gold PLATED... Shame on them... never been so angry

Popped into this store today to buy pair of earrings for my partner...it ended up her son had got her similar ones so i returned to store about 20mins later to exchange them & was told buy the girl who served me that they can't exchange them due to hygiene reasons..i said you can clearly tell they havnt even been out the box.. & if you had told me this when buying them it wudv saved me the return journey & if you had sings up telling customers this it would save people coming back...she said its on the back of your receipt..i looked & it's tiny & who even reads the back of the receipt..i though it was a bit unfair & like i said if it had been explained when buying them i cudv at least sent my partner a pic 1st.. so maybe your staff should explain shop policies before purchases are made.
