I recently bought my stunning wedding bands and I can’t fault the service that was provided. Louise was fantastic and pulled out lots of different rings for my partner and I to try on. The shop was clean and tidy and all staff very friendly and helpful. Was offered Prosecco to celebrate our purchase.
Terrible quality engraving. Initially website said 2 weeks to send away to engrave, then told in shop would be 4 weeks. Staff in shop were good and managed to get it back to me in 3. Quality of engraving on the inside of silver bangle is terrible, superficial and looks like someone scratched with a needle. Rough craggy edges. Looks terrible compared to the date that was already engraved previously by another jeweller and it cost £60 more than the bangle is worth. When I complained to the staff on receiving if they made excuses that it was because it was “hand engraved” and said all they could do would be to send it back and get it polished off. Not happy. Expensive, terrible customer service and rubbish quality. DO NOT GO HERE.
We went in and bought a watch , we had a think about it when we got home and decided that we would rather save to buy the one my partner really wants . To then go in to store to find out you can’t retune it and which we did not get told when purchasing the watch and then on top if they take out links you couldn’t even get the money out on a gift card due to it being “ bespoke” to you which we were not not either or we would have left the links in . So we are not stuck with a watch at £1750 and can’t do anything with it . The manger was adamant there was nothing they could do which I think is a joke . Made me really think about going back to buy anything from them again considering the week before he bought a diamond ring from them
My husband purchased my engagement ring from Chisholm Hunter Livingston and after receiving such excellent customer service we went back for our wedding bands. We will only shop here for our jewellery in future and would recommend to everyone.

Went in to ask about signet rings, the staff member hustled me out, like I couldn't afford to buy their rings, shame,I had £10 k in cash in my pocket and was in the mood to spend, she gave me the impression it was too much fuss, to get measured up and send a ring away for adjusting and how long it would take...... Big mistake!!!

My wife had her wedding ring cut off by Chisholm Hunter, due to swelling of her fingers. This was a ring that we had purchased from this store 6 months prior. We were charged £70 to have the ring mended again. Then we were informed that they had damaged the ring and some of the diamonds had come loose as a result. We were then charged a further £60 to have the diamonds secured again. Chisholm Hunter admits to damaging the ring and causing the diamonds to become loose, but they do not believe that they could cover the cost of fixing the damage that they cause. I would never use these cowboys again and I would also warn anyone who is considering to use them not to. I can now see why they as so poorly rated.
Can't recommend Chisholm Hunter Livingston enough. I have always received first class customer service. Doesn't matter if it's a watch battery or diamond ring, they really look after you.
Lovely friendly service, they were very helpful and knowledgeable when I was looking for a special present for my mum, would definitely recommend.
