I dare say that if you bumped into the green keepers in the pub that they would tell you what job they did but be reluctant to say where they did it. Aeration of a golf course should be once or twice a year. These do it once or twice a week. They have taken up mats and not replaced them. Not moving the pins of late so the greens are looking like a rugby pitch. Should put gates on to protect the course. Other than that it a great course. Small greens, bunkers on everyone. Just a shame the council don't look after it like they should. They will take the money but not put it back in.

Ok, it's a great 9 hole course for any level and ideal for beginners. It's survived the recent cull of local courses and with an obviously limited maintainance budget the team do well if only they had a bit more for some tlc. Moving over to pre round online booking has worked well in ensuring that the course is played by people who have a genuine intrest in golf. Playable after heavy rains- good drainage. Great if you only have a couple of hours free to play. Don't be snooty, she's got a good long history.

Great little 9 hole course

Great little course, when I went the greens had been sanded, but needs must. Proper test of a course where accuracy matters. Every hole is interesting especially holes 3 to 6. Blind shots, plenty of dunes. Really enjoyed this one. Great for a late afternoon game as you'll easy get 9 in.

Tricky little 9 hole golf course, greens were in great condition as of June 2017.
