Been quite a few yrs since been just on spur off moment to cross over the Mersey & pop in . It's were I had my first taste of old peculiar fantastic ale.  The place is clean got served fast only prob had to ask the young girl for my card receipt as she just went on to serve someone else after doing my order.   Food was hot & excellent as well as full filling, staff asking if was OK replied it cert was.   Tables getting cleaned after ppl left, very fast cleaning up by staff, gents toilets were spotless & very clean as well.

had delicious scampi and chips and garden peas all washed down with a glass of coke. Lovely hot meal and fresh tasting. Atmosphere great, very busy but quick with the meal order. Great pub.

Certain days they must have different cooks some better than the other. Some rate very good to very poorly. I ordered scrambled egg which was awful even after returning it. It was tough super rubbery, not whisked well and of course microwaved to hell. In a restaurant it should be more professional cooked... For instance in a pan.

Ordered through the app. V v v quick service. If the bar staff smiled it would have been five stars

As spoons pubs go it is a good one... food is better than otjers .. staff are helpful and with the table service app .. waiting at tje bar is history .. 
Some fun times been had... 
All for a decent price ..
