Played on a cold and breezy day, greens magnificent for December, many memorable holes, good clubhouse with lots of history, the club and the course have that special aura that only links courses seem to generate, would put this on a par with silloth, which is high praise indeed.
The members were welcoming, the green staff were all friendly and courteous, something that costs nothing, but means a great deal.
I can't wait to go back in summer.
Brilliant course.

Top course in great condition, a good rest of golf in windy conditions, playing from the white tees would be much more of a challenge.
Good clubhouse with welcoming members.
We had a great deal for golf £40 each, which is a bargain for such a classy golf course
