Was a bit hesitant at first going into this cafe because the reviews suggested this was just a place for breakfast. Turns out they do all kinds of foods, all made in store. Ended up with the freshly baked baguette with bacon, sausage, eggs and cheese. This was the most expensive baguette at 5.90, but they had prices of less than 5 pounds for other choices BLT is just 4 pounds. Full menus attached for visit, they have a lot of choices. Woman who served me was called Alana and was extremely kind and polite. Overall the store was quite busy, but we only had to wait around 15 minutes they fried the bacon and sausages fresh. Portion sizes are great, more than enough for lunch. Definitely beats meal deal in terms of taste, and the price is just a little more. Bacon was perfectly done, but the best thing was the baguette. I usually find the baguettes in places like Greggs a little too "crunchy" and too chewy, not in a good way, but the baguette here was extremely soft and delicious, with just the perfect amount of bite. Will definitely go again.
Visit this cafe whenever in Wandsworth. Always have a great breakfast and another reviewer is wrong. The couple who run it speak perfect English. Great value for money.
Had lunch this Monday with my friend very impressed. Cleanliness of restaurant including toilets excellent. Food basic well cooked staff friendly definitely recommend and look forward to a return visit.
Delicious food and excellent service
Chips was over cooked Mushrooms under cooked. Felt sick after eating from there. As my girlfriend Zoe Kelly said we won't be going back there
If you're looking for a healthy option for your morning breakfast then the Wandsworth Cafe is not your place. It's a small location and appropriately situated next to a gymnasium so you can watch the health conscious glare through the window at the awesome set breakfasts on display while drooling at the fried bacon smells. The prices are quite reasonable and you get a lot of food for your money, usually accompanied with a tea or coffee and a slice of bread. The service is very fast, even when busy, and there's always a copy of the sun to read on the tables all with plenty of sauces too. A regular breakfast hot spot for the locals and one not to be missed.
Stunning food and quite cheap, the toasted chicken and cheese sandwich was a wonderful surprise!
Great food. Good value for money in busy area Wandsworth High street and service great. All day breakfast serving with freshly grounded coffee like Nero, Starbucks or Costa. Breakfast around £5.
