Lovely open grass areas with benches dotted about, views of the river, sunset, sunrise, birds/waterfowl, and plenty of good dogs :
A truly lovely gem of a place for walking, cycling, fishing or running.
Stunning but quiet meadow. Tall grass in summer makes it ideal for a picnic. There is a protected nature Reserve in the marsh with cows, do it doesn't feel like you're near central London.
Fabulous place the walk or run. Large open and generally overlooked. There are cow and horse in the stables to wonder across. It’s quiet and very generous on the eyes in the sun. A “hidden” gem. You feel like your nestled in the countryside.
I love Walthamstow marshes. It's wild nature and beautiful, especially in Spring. I met swans in the river Lea some ducks too. It's near my house and I like walking there as often as I can. There is a garden where you can gardening called Robin Hood garden. There are boats on the river. Recently they put CCTV cameras for safety near the paths, there is also nice pub called Anchor and Hope!
One of the few places in London where you can really get away from people. Lovely place to lie in the summer, and there usually aren't many people around. You can walk around, lie down, look at horses and cows, or learn to ride horses.
This place there is only bush As never I saw a cow here in England, I stopped and took a picture and I was impressed as a child that never had seen a cow. The cool thing I want to comment is that I'm going like this everyone the days because I'm working in Stratford and the app puts you on a riverside path and this scenario it's the most beautiful thing that I think in particular, I ride my bike here and I like it a lot This place It looks like paradise.
A nice relaxing place to walk and look at wildlife, plants and trees. Great place to take a microbreak.
Love this area, such a beautiful place, as lockdown eases lately and with temperature high, place has seen a increse on the number of people visiting
Walk from Coppermill fields car park towards the marshes, you will see these murals
