We had a fantastic meal here! 10/10 would recommend. It was so busy and we had not booked but staff managed to find us a table without any issues. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. The staff were so nice! If we were local, it would be one of my top places to eat at regularly. Kid-friendliness: Baby friendly. High chairs and baby changing available on request as no drop down table in the toilets.
Great quintessential country English pub, with the core ingredients of excellent service, great food and a charming atmosphere! Service was extremely friendly and attentive even during busy periods. Food was excellent and well priced. Ample parking. Recommended - will be back again!
Stayed at the lakeside holiday park less than 1 mile from the walnut tree bar and restaurant on our last night decided to stay local to eat out and was so pleasantly surprised, the welcome was lovely, friendly and warm, I had the pork loin with dauphinoise potatoes which was out of this world, my wife had the pork and leak sausages and mash both dishes were delicately seasoned and plentiful. The chocolate brownie with dairy I e cream and chocolate sauce was incredible, myself I had the vanilla cheesecake with passionfruit coulis with mango sorbet all made in house again one of the best deserts I've had in a long time, it's no surprise that booking is recommended as after we arrived it got busy very quickly, but a little gem tucked about a mile off the A27 near Chichester definitely a must go to if your in the area

A beautiful lunch for a belated mother's day. I hadn't been here for quite a few years so wasn't sure what it would be like now but I was not disappointed. Great menu, food was absolutely beautiful, brilliant and friendly staff and service, and a beautiful country pub with a lovely atmosphere. What more can you want? It was also so lovely to see dogs being welcome. Vegetarian options: My mum is vegan, and although there were no vegan options on the menu they were amazing and do cater for a vegan diet. My mum had a vegan burger which she really enjoyed. Parking: Free parking and plenty of spaces, best to car share if possible as it does get busy at times. Kid-friendliness: Lovely welcoming atmosphere for everyone, young families included. A lovely garden for kids to stretch their legs and be kids in.

We often pop in for a drink when we holiday in the area. This time we booked for an evening meal. The food was amazing would definitely recommend Food: 5/5
Nice pub on the outskirts of Chichester. Large car park. There is an extensive bar and restaurant area. Wide variety of starters /mains which are reasonably priced. Very good pint of chilled Harvey's. I had the Calamari, which was cooked in delicious breadcrumbs, followed by the dressed crab salad, which was accompanied with buttered, minted new potatoes. Service was very good, considering it was very busy on our arrival.
We've just come back from a lovely meal. There was 18 of us in total and not one of us could of faulted it... Food was amazing service was on point and the manager mark was just lovely as were the rest of the staff. It's such a cosy place I loved it. Thank you for making the father in laws 60th birthday such an enjoyable evening.Food: 5/5
Nice restaurant with lots of parking. Staff were friendly and helpful on arrival and showed us to our table. Menu had a good variety with lots of options and a couple of vegetarian options plus a "Specials" board with other options. Also prepared to switch starters up to mains. Extensive wine list but, and this the only thing letting it down - was the lack of beer choices. Otherwise great and very recommended.
