Beautifully set grocery store. The building looks modern and fresh. Ample of parking. Clean ground. Bathrooms are relatively clean for grocery store standard. Butcher section has good variety of meats.
Obviously as expected, Waitrose is more expensive than all other supermarkets but some basic items were higher than expected. The one point that I was very disappointed in was their own brand fresh chunky minestrone soup - the carrots were rock hard!
Two young members of staff went out of their way to source my wife a free range frozen turkey here today. Their manner was delightful, professional and very efficient. Left very impressed and will be back.
Have shopped at Waitrose many times. Arrived at 4.30pm this evening as their Google details state they’re open until 9pm. Thought this was late night shopping on the run up to Christmas.nDidn’t mind that it was shut but was greeted by one of their managers who simply said “We’re closed”. I then mentioned Google. He said “It’s wrong” and walked off.nWaitrose. May I remind you, you control your Google account, not Google and your staff should be courteous. His attitude and body language quite simply stank, suggestive that me and my wife were stupid or shouldn’t have taken what Google states.nPlease sort your Google details out, especially for the festive period!
Cafe is one of the best I have seen in a supper store, a lovely little book swap. Clean interior and the package less goods area was superb. Had a lovely pleasant conversation with a lady on checkouts.
