Now that Whole Foods has gone I have rediscovered this place. Love the products, shop layout, shop assistants, presentation but I have two big gripes: Far too many imported products when we have excellent homegrown and produced items; do we really need endless rows of German and French Chocolates, Pates etc and other products. 2, Too much PLASTIC packaging on fruit and vegetables. BLUE PLANET???  Natural Grocer should be supporting, nay promoting, reduced plastic and other packaging and reduced airmiles. BUY LOCAL. BUY UK...Only when that has been exhausted or there is no alternative, import. Picking up on another point abut the proprietors; keep them behind the scenes! Yes, I shall do more shopping there, but I would do a lot more if my issues were addressed.

The staff are the most friendly and go out of their way to help with special orders. Great grocery store.

Super choice of products, helpfully labelled vegan to save on lots of reading of packaging and very pleasant ambience in the shop. Will definitely be back soon to re-stock the cupboards.

Excellent variety of organic and allergen-free products, as well as local ales, lagers and wines. Very friendly staff and environment. You do pay a little more than at the supermarket, but that's reflected in the quality of what you're buying.

Shopping for dairy & nut free young man & also for a vegan - excellent range of goods to choose from. Pleasant & helpful staff.
