Free parking, clean and nice supermarket! Good offer of all kinds of goods you’re likely to find in a supermarket. Also good offer of fresh fish and meat!

Poor staff service and knowledge. Asked where the gluten free section was located, when showed by staff they informed us that they had mixed everything together for the gluten free and normal food and offered no help in finding items. Utterly ridiculous and dangerous.

Nice shop, lovely cafe. The mushroom and cheese toasty very yummy!

Great size store with free parking for up to 2hrs in the large carpark.nnGreat range of everything you could possibly need for all your day to day home needs, such as fresh fruit & veg, tinned goods, frozen items, bakery selection, plus toiletries , household items, newspapers, confectionery, tobacco, alcohol etc, etc, they even sell babies clothes & bits, plus I found the staff to be nice too.nnUnfortunately I am not as impressed with the staff in the cafe, as I chose my sandwich, then some miserable young lady came from out the back to serve me, I ordered my cappuccino, went to pay, but by this time another young lady came from out the back & they spoke the whole time I was standing there,  she then put my drink at the side, snatched the money, but didn't address me the whole time, I walked away & they were still talking, so rude!!nnThe end result is they paid so much attention to their conversation & none to my poor drink, that it was tepid & watery,  plus it looked the strangest cappuccino I've ever seen, a weird colour, sadly the sandwich as lovely as it looked was rock hard stale bread, I wish I'd of not bothered, as I was enjoying my visit until then!nnI will return, as shortly after I sat down, a lovely friendly looking lady came from out the back, & served everyone that arrived with a very courteous, but warm smile, I'm jealous!nnUpdate - Just visited the cafe again today and what a difference, lovely professional, but friendly welcome and my cappuccino was made to perfection!

£38 a kilo Organic salmon not as fresh as it should be!  If you pay the price you expect the quality..... in any case, freshness it the minimum when you buy fish from a quality supermarket.  Something not right here.  I even asked the guy on the counter which was the freshest so the others probably even worse. Update - I went back to the shop who refunded the £19 without quibbling,  for which I am grateful.  Thus upping review from 1 star to 3 star - Waitrose should have better control over their supply chain and over the shelf life of highly perishable produce like fresh fish
