Generally the food is very good, especially the smoked salmon but keep well away from their chicken breasts they are not only extortionate at £15 for a pack of four if I had spotted the price I would have saved myself from the torture of eating it TOUGH AS AN OLD LEATHER BOOT! Even my dog turned her nose up after an attempted bite!
Great store overall, but the handling of expiry dates really needs attention.nnOn multiple visits I’ve found out-of-date items on the shelves. I even purchased juice that was over 15 days expired, which was quite concerning. Since then, I’ve become very cautious when shopping here.nnWhen I raised the issue, I was given a £5 goodwill gesture — appreciated, but I’d much rather feel confident that the products are safe and regularly checked. At the very least, proper shelf rotation and rumbling is expected, especially when stores like M&S and Sainsbury’s manage this consistently.nnI hope management takes this seriously, as the store has potential to be great.
Well stocked, helpful staff, free coffee if you have a Waitrose card but oh my word it is FEEEZING in this store! I've never been in a shop so cold. So wrap up warm and get that hot coffee to sip while you do your shopping
Excellent staff, and selection. Attentive and keep the shop tidy and clean. The reductions on almost out of date food could be better, I never feel tempted by it as it's only a bit cheaper than full price most of the time
The toilets here are always filthy, sanitary bins overflowing, bad smells, toilet roll everywhere, dirty crevices, walls, sinks etc..nnSeriously needs a deep clean and more regular checking.nnFor a 'high end' supermarket it's quite shocking really.
