I never go in into Waitrose but this afternoon I decided to pop in for a little change. I was served by a lady behind the tobacco stand and I was not happy with the customer service I received. I’m a very polite & friendly individual and I’m always smiling . She gave me dirty looks as soon as I walked over to the till & despite this I was still my polite and happy self. Even tho we only interacted for a number of minutes she didn’t smile back once and she didn’t use manners / wasn’t polite.nnShe also made a mistake while fulfilling my order which is fine it happens I wasn’t worried as i knew it could be easily rectified, So I didn’t moan/ complain about it! I simply asked her politely to change it and then she looked at me like it was my fault that she made a mistake . She didn’t even say say “Thank you” Or “Have a nice day” as I left.nnWhen I got out the shop I turned to my friend and said “Do you think I’m being silly or did you find her really rude” and she agreed. I will NOT be going back in there. I wasn’t going to leave a review but I’m that disgusted and upset in the way she looked at me and judged me that I had to say something. I left the shop feeling rubbish like a bit of dirt. If I go into a store happy I expect to leave happy. She had some sort of issue with me as soon as I walked to the till .Very unprofessional and unfriendly individual.
Very good service. The selection of foods to choose from is impressive. Also things are very cheap

Disgusting!nNo customer toilet inside. You have to PAY for parking!nI wouldn't buy anymore from here if my life depended on it!
