50p for three hours, right next to the town centre? Indeed ...most excellent!
Pretty stopping place just behind carpark. Great little place to people watch and see the wild life. Seating area needs a bit of updating. Venture over the nearby bridge into pretty open parkland. Worth a visit, plenty of space for children to run.
Note that the parking machines accept contactless credit cards, but contactless on your phone does not work. The car park is an odd layout and has worn coloured markings which are not obvious what they are for, but is convenient for the shops and parkrun.
Cheap. That's about it. Really bad surface & bad design makes many spaces extremely hard to get into or out of. Too many spaces blocked with recycling banks and construction vehicles.
50p 3 hours? Brilliant. Edit. Cheap parking because you can park elsewhere for free But it's so cheap and secure it's worth it. You can pay with the Ring app.
A busy town car park with a great mix of kerbs, edges, uneven pavements and speeding cars. A joy for children and those less able.
I had my tools stolen from my van in this car park. The builder I was working with then had all his tools stolen from this car ark 3 days later. Both incidents were in broad daylight. There is no CCTV so tradesman beware.
An unusual entrance and exit layout, you can normally tell the newbies from the experienced users. But a good site and price.
Good location for a walk in town and beside the river.. most convenient!
