This small branch could be so much more useful, and stock so much more food if it didn't waste half the floorspace on flowers and a bakery that seems to make around 15 loaves a day. A real shame.
Always buy flowers from Waitrose as I find that they are the best quality for money.
I don’t think this store understands the meaning of diversity. It does not represent the current Britain. Only employed white-skin staff and when the foreign customers like me entered the shop, I got stared at, as if I should not be shopping there. The staff will forget their manners and not say thank you to me once I paid for my shopping however they will be friendly, smiling, and helpful and say thank you to those white-skinned customers. Shall I say this as Passive racism?nI would love to talk to the store manager, hoping I can guide him or her on how to run the store and staff that reflects Britain as a country of all colours that supports equality and diversity.
Polite staff, prices are quite high, they have removed one checkout so there is only one now, also the have installed 6 self scan cheackouts all card only which is stupid so you do have to wait for a while on every occasion if you want to pay cash at the kiosk which is normally manned by the same staff member that is running around like a headless chicken trying to put right the new machines that keep asking for approval? Really badly thought out.... if at all
