Great for food, love the angels beer. Plenty of places to eat in or take away, give the chip shop a try you will not regret it.
A nice little station, lovely walking and visually attractive. The station has two platforms, cover and information screens. No catering services though.
I lived here for some time now. Nice walks. Cool library & museum. I like the shops and scenery. Very peaceful. One thing you'll never expect about moving here is how many Frickin cats there are. Literally, my neighbours dog is the only dog I've ever seen. I'm friends with about 30 local cats. You go for one 5 min walk to the shop you'll see atleast 4 cats in any given location. It's heaven.
Worth a visit. Bateman's Visitor Centre. Magdalena Museum. Good pubs. Interesting shops, good fish and chips.
