The train station is lovely!! The trains doesn't come often but the station is the terminal.
The best way to get into Skegness and avoid traffic and parking. The route is prompt and scenic.
Lovely outdated station with old infrastructure like the Regional Railways leaflet holder in the ticket office and old bits and bobs around, platform 1's entry being turned into a shop plus the easy to enter bus station. Looking at the station is like being in the 1970's. Hourly trains from Skegness to Nottingham with intercity services every Saturday is quite good aswell.
The best way to arrive in Skegness.
Needs more trains during peak times. Proximity to the buses are handy. Good toilets as well.
