One of the best gluten free restaurants in London. Excellent gluten free food, recommend the duck confit and cassava chips. The owner is a lovely lady who took the time to chat with us about the restaurant history. The chef is clearly highly skilled and I would wager he has had fine dining cooking training. Book in advance as it gets busy during weekends.
Let’s start with the owner who is the kindest person on Earth! She is pure joy to talk to - and you can practice your Portuguese skills with her!!! She makes this experience special! I’ve been there couple of times and they never disappointed me! This time: delicious, soft, slowly cooked duck, on quinoa base and baby leaf salad made me sooo happy!!! And the jam on top If you love coffee you can/you must try their traditional coffee! It’s delicious! Quite strong! And it’s super cute how they serve it!!!
We were blown away with how delicious the menu was. Service was excellent and the price was exceptional especially considering the quality of the food and staff. We will definitely be returning and cannot recommend highly enough. My non-coeliac partner loved it too! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free menu
Definitely the perfect place for us Celiac Marcelo, Magali THANKS, THANKS and THANKS for your #vegan #glutenfree options, will repeat next time I’m in London
Our hands down favorite place we ate at while on a recent trip to London. Would not have guessed it was all gluten free. Should be the STANDARD for an excellent gluten free menu. The New York Times should include this place as a recommended stop in its '36 Hours' series. Highly recommend.Food: 5/5
Must visit for coeliac/celiac folks but honestly would be a hit with anyone, delicious food, welcoming staff, and generous portions!Recommended dishesEggs Benedict, Halloumi
Honestly, it was just OK. Everything was freshly made. Potato wedges were huge and had to ask got ketchup a couple of times because the portion was very small. The halloumi burger was alright, basil mayo added a really nice taste. The bread used for the burger could be better quality. The chicken burger was nice but quite small in relation to the price. £27.50 for a halloumi burger and chicken burger both came with potato wedges.
I am gluten free and never been to a restaurant/cafe that ONLY serves gluten free food and beer! I was so happy that we went for 3 courses and everything was so tasty and beautifully cooked. The menu may be small but covers all bases vegetarians and vegans included . I would rather have a menu with focussed choices compared to many places that I go to eat where you only have the choice of one dish sometimes nothing!. As for the GF pecan pie- amazing! Our daughters are both coeliac so we are hoping to take them here soon to experience the sheer delight of not having to worry of any cross contamination. Thank you so much for running this restaurant and all the best Dietary restrictions: A totally Gluten free eatery - coeliacs come along and be relaxed as you choose anything from the menu!!
Went there for brunch on a Saturday and sat inside. It was really cold, but they kept the door open the whole time. As for the food, we got the bruschetta, which wasn't special. The crab cakes were ok, not very well seasoned. The venison burger was more meatball in texture than burger, and a bit dry. The bun was excellent though. Finally we had the cassava chips, which were some of the best cassava chips I've had. Service was very friendly though.
Very delicious food, super friendly service and finally a place to eat that's gluten free without exceptions!
