This Branch is now Virgin Money so don't turn up hoping for anything different. This is a bank that's barely relevant in Yorkshire so Derbyshire's got no chance
For the third time in the last month I have now travelled half an hour into Derby to get to the closest branch plus I have taken a day off work due to your inconvenient opening times only to find yet again the bank is closed. This is ridiculous for a company of your size ... “We’re not like other banks”..... yes quite right you are never, ever open for your customers! Switching banks, if I can ever get in to withdraw my savings.....
Can’t believe after 31 years I am going to have to move banks , I have been very loyal but sadly since Yorkshire bank got taken over the loyalty hasn’t been reciprocated. Never anyone at the paying in desk , never open when the opening times state , just another business that will be a empty building eventually if they carry on with this standard of service
After reading so many bad reviews, I was very concerned. However, the staff were very helpful and did everything needed to process what I needed and make the relevant transactions without wasting time.
Closed again I will not continue to pay business banking charges when I am unable to.come in to the branch to pay in cash. Cost me time, effort, parking. Disgraceful
IN THE PUBLIC INTEREST. Rude, argumentative and confrontational approach to banking. Ben, Joanne and Scott have nothing but utter contempt for customers which borders on the verge of hate crime and fraud. They will lie and give half truths without a thought. They do not belong in a peaceful and multi cultured Derby. A very shocking and frightening experience. If these three were Doctors they would face being struck off and sacked. Time to name and shame in order to protect the public.
When I had an issue with my account I rang the branch up and the lady I spoke to was extremely helpful, more than I was expecting to be, went out of her way to make sure I didn't go into debit and yeah all I can say is thank you.
Needed to put some cash in my account, but as the bank closes at 3pm and is not open Saturday mornings I am unable to do this. I will have to look moving my accounts to another bank.
This branch is now only open 10am to 2pm Monday to Friday, which makes paying in cash or large cheques difficult for people working full time.
Went to pay a cheque in at Derby branch today. Sign up saying its closed until tomorrow!!
