The staff have always been happy to help. but there always seems to be a queue and the internet banking pc are never working.

The staff are great and customer service is great. However the issue is that there is not enough staff and so you have to wait for ages to actually get served by a cashier. I prefer to use the banking facilities online to avoid having to go into the branch.

No stars(If I could rate them lower than one I would), my foreign partner tried to get a bank account multiple times from them and each time they presented us with different rules and regulations. First since she had no tax history they wanted a national insurance letter from the tax office dated, as the current one was off by a week (they said there is a 3 week period). When we brought back a current letter they said they don't accept them, after the customer service women researched forms of ID they would accept and told us to get another one sent out. The 3rd time the woman on customer service was flirting with a man for about 10 minutes after their issue had been resolved and we just had to stand there waiting. She was rude and impolite, so we went to Barclays and they accepted her with a letter right away and said the time limit was 3 months and not 3 weeks. Never again Halifax

APPALLING!!!! Derby Branch closed and the nearest facility on offer is Long Eaton or Burton....a long way to walk! As usual no consideration for customers whatsoever. The Halifax is getting worse........they think they are too big to have to bother! THE HALIFAX - THE BANK THAT LIKES TO SAY "TOUGH, YOU CAN'T"
