The premise of the Virgin Money lounges is that as an account holder with Virgin Money, you can join and enter as a perk of being a customer. What's not to like? You go in, show your card and then help yourself to hot drinks and little snacks while finding yourself a comfy chair and reclining for a read or relax. It's an ideal pit stop in London, and I personally prefer this quieter setting to the more popular Haymarket lounge down the road.
This is the best free thing in London ever! Get a Virgin credit card and use this lounge whenever in town. I am a teacher and always do my work here during holiday times. I get loads of work done possibly due to the unlimited free coffee and snacks to keep me going! It is only a shame that this branch is now only open Mon - Fri as the Haymarket branch is the one that you use on weekends now.
I think this place is great as I can get free wifi, iPad use, printing and a drink and snack and relax for a bit whenever I'm in town. I miss the opening days when there was cans of Coke in the fridge but as so many people kept taking them out it had to be stopped. But there's still a quality coffee machine, good choice of tea and cold squash in the fridge. Friends like to sit in the airline seats whenever I first show them around.
Open up a Virgin Money account and gain free access to this wonderful resource in Piccadilly. Unlimited tea/coffee, soft drinks and biscuits ... along with free wifi makes this a perfect zone out space if you're out and about and don't feel like using McDonalds or Starbucks. As it's new, it's incredibly posh and fun. They have it open to the public this week then will ask for your proof of account.
I also been coming to this Virgin Lounge since I got my Virgin Credit. Same as the other one in Haymarket was really well staffed when it opened but has gone a little downhill. Mourad who was the staff member there is really nice and always cheerful! He was there when I joined but hasn't been there for a while now. Last time I came to this one a few weeks ago there was a lady on reception who didn't even acknowledge me at all when I came in and swiped my card. Not even a hello or half hearted hi. Same as Haymarket staff aren't as happy as when I joined Virgin Money. If not for customer care slipping I would have given 5 out of 5.
An elegant building in St Andrews Square houses the virgin money lounge,you need only be a member of virgin money in any capacity savings account holder to qualify and what you have in return is a peaceful friendly place to relax during your shopping trips in town, the team are friendly and chatty they have many teas and a brand new coffee machine where you can enjoy a beverage biscuits,and fruit for free they only ask that you take nothing away with you,a fair deal indeed. the decor feels like an old financial building has had new life breathed into it and despite the virgin branding it is a comfortable place to hang out to read the papers or go online using their computers and ipads, if you have a visiting friend bring them here to impress them.
Great intimate lounge for getting away from the buzz when you are member of the bank. All you need to do is to have an account and you can access these wonderful locations with their friendly staff and services in a number of locations around the UK.
Fantastic & Rewarding Banking I discovered this Lounge and all the fabulous people who made it amazing back when I worked in the City. I still go when I can to recharge my batteries and to collect my thoughts. Long may it continue. Highly recommended.
Useless customer service and staff that lie to customers and a credit card that does not work, 100% USELESS in every ASPECT! Not much else to say. Any business is only as good as its management and leadership team...draw your own conclusions.
