Seen this little gem while taking family to Southampton docks so stopped off on the way back for a toilet stop, popped into the butcher for some steak as board said 3lb for £25 WOW can honestly say it was the freshest, tastiest piece of steak in a long while absolutely mouth watering. Naturally I had to stop again when I pick the family for some more, Then I found the breakfast sausages pork,bacon,tomato & black pudding . Ended up with half the shop I think . Amazing deals, awesome quality. Can’t wait till someone else goes on a cruise just so I can take them to pop in again.
Lovely cafe that serves proper breakfast /lunch. A sausage sandwich and it comes in white bread and butter, a toasty sandwich again in white bread. There's a place for wholemeal bread but not in sausage sandwich or cheese and onion toasties. Fabulous Dorset butcher next door and a lovely farm shop.......
I have been there before a couple of times . They had been ok , but this time , no no not good . The food itself was fine , but the fat on the plate , was not good eggs floating and bacon sat in fat . I used the kitchen roll to mop some of it up . Otherwise I would have had to leave it. Sorry but it needs saying

Locally sourced meats, great quality, best home made chipolatas around, and variety of susages. Well worth a visit.
Loved it! What a fantastic example of how a charity should be run. A great place for children, dogs and adults alike.
Great ambience. Loved the witty wall hangings and quotes. Very cozy and welcoming.
Staff not very friendly. I got the dirtiest of looks from the young girl when we came in. Ordered 3 drinks, a coke, hot water and milkshake. The water and coke came almost straight away, the milkshake took about 15 minutes. Said girl used her hands to pick up some of the icecream used for the milkshake. The staff just didnt seem to happy to be there, not a pleasant experience.
We always visit here when we travel from Devon to London. Great cafe and interesting shop selling gifts, green grocery and other food bits.Also sells a few garden bits.There is a butcher here aswell.
First visit, checking out farm shops for local produce, and got a very friendly welcome. Bought minced beef and lamb sausages; both excellent. Interesting fresh milk vending machine. Will go again.
