The receptionists are horrible goblin people. They treat you as though they are being terribly put out by your requests, that is if they ever actually answer the phone. They have misinformed me on several occasions and wasted mine, and other patients time by booking me an appointment when it could have been done over the phone. I literally dread having to see their sour faces contort at me when i ask a question. Which is really not nice when you ill and you suffer from mental health issues. The only saving grace is the doctors. They are lovely.

I shall be reporting this surgery to the Government and Local Council.  They are an NHS organisation so they don't get to behave how they do.  How would they like it...If I behaved like that to my customers I would be out of work.    AND Answer the phone and provide a service.  Add more staff if necessary!

i find it amazing that people who work as receptionists can  have such a rude telephone manner. you'd think  that would be their key skill, apparently not. they never seem to answer their phones and when they do seem annoyed you've call them?? 
doctors are really good and give you their time if you live long enough to get through their door as appointment can be two weeks away!

Great doctors but the receptionists always seem to be upset. I don't want to feel like I'm doing something wrong everytime I need to book an appointment or need to ask them a question.
