Phoned up and specifically asked for my childrens prescriptions to be sent over to my new pharmacy electronically. As it was urgent I was told it would be done immediately. They didn't do this and I found out when I went to the pharmacy to collect my prescription. Called callowland surgery up and the Lady on reception told me she had both prescriptions and they couldn't send prescriptions electronically so they'd been printed. Arrived half hour later to be told to sit in the waiting room for 15 minutes whilst the receptionist rushed around looking for the prescriptions only to find that only 1 had been printed. I was then assured it would be sent over electronically (despite being told this wasn't possible). Surprise surprise 3 days later this still hadn't been done. This place is quite unbelievable

What is an emergency appointment mean to Receptionists? The receptionists ladies are extremely rude . Every time I phone for urgent appointment with my GP I feel like they will put the phone down before I even start speaking and I still did not get my appointment. Completely useless. Is understandable that is very busy and they may be true of not having appointment for 2-3 weeks but at least they should explain the circumstances to patients. We are talking about peoples Health here !!! Receptionists are the first who interact with the patients at all time , they supposed to know how to approach the patients and how to talk to them ! All they do is to make you angry and make you change your GP. This is totally unacceptable !!!

The doctors are very good but the reception staff are very rude especially the one who has short cut and glasses i have been in this surgery for 7 years now every thing was ok but these times they became very unprofessional you can't be in an emergency situation and not allowed to see a doctor If the receptionist doesn't think that a heart and breathing problems are not an emergency what can it be than. Due to the complete incompetence of the members of staff at this surgery I will now be seeking medical assistance for myself and my family elsewhere.
