Village Vets is a wonderful place, giving very personal and friendly service. All staff are extremely knowledgeable and are more than happy to help. The advice we have received from all concerned regarding our puppy has been beyond value, and everyone we have seen has shown a real love of animals.
Professional, determined, caring, passionate about their work is the best way to describe all the staff at Village Vets. The care and compassion shown to our dog goes away and above. My 11 year old dog is back like a mischievous 2 year old after being treated. nothing was a problem and time was always given to both patient and owners. I would recommend the Village Vets to anyone.
Village vets Longniddry are great! They've been very helpful with Bella who is very hyper and a tad aggressive with other dogs. They let me keep her in the car till it's her turn and arrange for her to get a 1st or last appointment. They are a very friendly practice and very caring, even came to see Bella at home. Highly recommended! ;-
Our dog actually enjoys going to see our Vet, although, that may be something to do with the treats. On a serious note, we've always used the Village Vets at Longniddry and the care and attention that they give to our dog gives us the reassurance that we need when it's not always easy to leave your beloved pet in someone else's hands. They were extremely helpful when our dog was quite poorly recently and were a massive help with the insurance claim. The fact that our dog wags his tail like a propeller whilst barging his way in the door is all the proof I need.
There are closer vets to where we live, but we started with Village Vets over 5 years ago on a recommendation and have stuck with them since. The staff are all very friendly and helpful and we have complete trust in their care and advice. We also like the fact that care packages etc are mentioned and explained but not pressed upon you.
This is a great practice. Until very recently, I had two cats who reached the grand old age of 20, which is largely down to the excellent care given by the team of vets here. Sadly, we lost our wee girl in January this year but the care and compassion given to her and us on her last journey was second to none. Our wee boy is still going strong though and I hope that he will enjoy a few more years of being cared for by this team of excellent vets.
We have been using The Village Vets since it opened 15 years ago. At the time we had our much loved beardie called Sophie, who was quite elderly at that time. She was looked after by Susan and Helen expertly and very sympathetically over the next few years - especially near the end. In 2004, we got Archie and Angus our two wonderful Westies who have had the usual doggie problems in their time. More challenging was their skin problems and in conjunction with the Dick Vet in Edinburgh, have been solved. We left Longniddry a couple of years back and moved to Dunbar but...we still come back to the Village Vets because they are simply the best!!
Absolutely brilliant. Always there, always warm, always professional. Would recommend village vets wholeheartedly. I've had a few health problems with my young collie and Village Vets have never been short on help and advice.
We took on a wee rescue dog, a Staffie who turned out to have quite a few interacting health problems google "Eilidh Child Tara". Thanks to the Village Vets, Tara is now bouncing around as if she's two years YOUNGER, instead of older, than when we got her. It's taken a lot of detective work by the Vets, but we now have all her symptoms under control. The staff are efficient, friendly and caring to the pets, and the vets knowledgable and persistent - they weren't going to be "beaten" by Tara's complex issues.
Fantastic. We have total faith in Village Vets. From past experience I know that they have our best interests at heart and don't necessarily just recommend the most expensive options. They're caring and practical. I'd recommend them to anyone.
