We are a 'small animal veterinary practice' dedicated to helping you and your pets with all aspects of health, nutrition and behaviour.

Story

Kasia Dowhan-Reid opened the practice as Joint Venture Partner in 2011 and we have been growing since. We are located at the back of Pets at Home, Fort Kinnaird.

We are open 7 days a week until 8pm weekdays, and have an out of hours team on hand at Vets Now, Edinburgh. We offer a range of expertise and services including; digital x-ray machine and processor; ultrasound machine; an operating theatre; extensive laboratory equipment; dental suite; an isolation ward; custom built kennels to treat a variety of in-patients and day-patients.

We also provide nurse clinics for nail clips, nutritional advice, behavioural advice, dental care, flea and worming advice, pet MOT's and much more. Our qualified team of nurses are always ready to help and advise on any issues or problems.

Take good care of my pets. Really a good place also handy for getting fresh food for them. My snake loves the rats from there my cats and dog love the treatment they received there and they all love the treats and food from there. Staff is always been super nice and friendly. I never go without my dog into the shop. (he'd be cross if I ever did)

Always seem kind and caring. Answered all of my questions.  Prices are competitive and you can take out a care plan which is more affordable.  Lovely big shop with all your pet care needs.

I used to use gets for pets until it became all about money. My cat got injured so had to take him in (thinking this was only one open) they were not interested in looking at him until they cleared up the £45 consultation fee. Then for the rest of the consultation all I heard from them was cost of this and that. I asked to get him castrated while he was under and again I was hit with it will still cost the same (I was not even thinking about a discount) then after we agreed to go ahead with surgery I was then hit with it will be another £25 for his follow on check up 😠 that's when I got a bit abrupt and told them that's exactly the reason I stopped bringing my dog. Overall I felt that as long as you had the money to pay they were interested. Never mind the fact the cat was in alot of pain cough up first

Absalouty joke I had to pay 30 to tell them wat was wrong with my dog and then before the price even got to the treatment was 112 hahaa oh aye no bother all they cared about was money I told them if that's what's wrong over the phone I will not be paying for it t
