This is a real local pub. Recently re opened under new management it is bit by bit being returned to its former glory days. Entertainment is a good effort, there's often karaoke, disco and more and more often live music. The staff are really friendly to everyone who comes inside and always seem to make friends with new people. Drinks aren't too expensive (infact cheaper than some other nearby venues). The pub has a pool table, darts area, plenty of seating and a stage. I believe there's a function room which is being fixed up, but this will be a great edition to the pub, although they do cater for all sorts of events in the main bar. Always worth a visit!
