Pub was very nice following the renovation, however the chirldrens play area has been vandalised and as such closed, the venue no longer serves food, and the pool tables are stained and in need of repair.

Decent pub with allot of potential but like most things in Skelmersdale can't be looked after or respected.

Card machine wasn't working again, no ATM facilities to use either. Absolute joke.

The Toby it's self is ok when its open but more often than not you are forced to go to the sports bar next to it, still on the same grounds, that isn't the best. The main Toby building I think is only open on weekends and is then packed with half of Skelmersdales entire population, with a maximum of 3 members of staff serving drinks. It's good in the sense it's popular among younger people but it's dark and loud with long waiting times, not for me really but very much for other people, as it seems to be so popular :)

Used to be my favourite pub before it had the first of many make-overs. Went down hill but now it's on its way back up. Love the decor and that there's pool tables again. Outside area is great in the nice weather and drinks are a reasonable price.
