Nice pub to go to for a pub meal. The menu is always changing and they have a lot of choice. Very reasonable as they have a lot of 2 for £10 on certain times. They also have themed nights like curry night and fish night but haven't been to one of these yet. The carvery is nice and you can pay for different size plates depending on how hungry you are which is good. They now do a breakfast on weekends which is handy and it is better than Asda's and a decent price too.

Birthday meal for hubby. Booked table for 3 adults 5 kids about 10 days before. When we arrived we were shown to the kids corner. Explained that it was a 55 yr old man's birthday however they assumed because there was kids in our party that it was a kids birthday party & were fully booked up so nowhere else to put us & that was that . No apology. I advised I wasn't going to argue about it as I didn't want to spoil my hubby's night to which the girl had the cheek to take offense too & we made our way to the kids corner & settled ourselves down with drinks. About 20 mins later, after we had ordered food the waitress came over & said she now had a table available but at this point we didnt want to make the fuss of changing tables & getting all the drinks & kids across to the other side of the pub so we declined the offer. Meals drinks & puds came to about £160. Service was good for the remainder of the evening. Food was mediocre.

Me and my friend Tracy went on Saturday night, and it was fantastic food and will definitely go again soon, staff where great too.10out 10
